This was my first Cara Bristol Breeders series book. I only found out at the end that there were others before this one, which speaks clearly of this being a stand alone novel. It is a scifi novel, with new worlds and new languages to learn, one of my favorite pastimes! It is also a romance novel, with heartaches, misunderstandings and miscommunications between the two lovers. Combining two of my favorites extremely well has made me a Cara Bristol fan for certain!

The story has some very hot scenes that are not meant for younger readers but they are tastefully written. I enjoyed my trip to her world and will be returning soon!! Definitely a five fang book!! My only regret was that it wasn’t longer!!!
