About the Author:

Warner—that’s Agent Carey Warner—picks it up and pats the stool. At least it’s him and not his partner.
“Sit,” he says in a voice so low I’m sure I’m the only one who can hear it.
I saddle up to the bar beside Warner. He tips a flask into his mug before taking a long gulp.
“Wanna swig?” he offers.
My eyes survey his polished dress shoes and pressed, white shirt with sleeves messily rolled up to his elbows. He pulls at his tie, which has already been loosened from the unbuttoned collar. His rich-boy haircut is somewhat ruffled reminding me more of a frat boy than of one of the Men in Black.
“I’m too young,” I smirk.
He lets out a genuine chuckle at that.
“Hard day?”
“You wouldn’t believe,” Warner answers with a lift of his brow. “Well, maybe you would. How ’bout you? Anything out of the ordinary?”
“Same old,” I reply, trying to keep my facial expression in check. Surely they’re trained to read that kind of thing. “Where’s the spider?”
Warner’s eyes flash on me, and the dimple in his cheek sinks. Bridget swoons over that look and calls it mischievous or whatever. Sometimes she forgets what he does for a living. She forgets what his duty will require if I step across the Men in Black’s invisible, moving line between right and wrong.
A very good Y.A. suited for all ages. Eric is a cutie, he’s the drummer in a band and is way older than the teen ager he’s pretending to be. His best friend is Bridget, she’s a book blogger, points in my book, and knows everything about Eric. Toss in aliens of all shapes and sizes, men in black, Mothman and the dead coming back to life and you end up with a really fun, light hearted, campy story. No sex or bad language just good clean fun for all ages.I will definitely recommend this to my young neice. 5 fangs

Tate finally throws his arms over his head trying to protect himself, “You lie! You’re the one who is always telling me to ‘put it in’ or ‘fuck me now, Tatum’ it’s your fault!”
“She calls you Tatum in the bedroom?” Max asks.
I glare down at Tate with all the pissed off anger I can muster. “You answer that question and I’ll show you foreplay with this sword and your ass.”
I live in southern Arkansas with my husband and young daughter. There is also an insane Boston Terrier running around. I’ve always been a lone wolf and find my friends in books. I started writing at a young age and I haven’t stopped since. Most days you can find me either glued to my laptop or my kindle. My first novel, This Beautiful Thing was an Amazon best seller for 11 weeks and a year later I’m still tickled to see people enjoy it. I may not be a huge seller but I have the best fans ever and I thank God everyday for every single one of them.

I want my own Gernot and I want him now!!! I am in awe of Kristin’s ability to weave such an intoxicating tale. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down.Now normally I’m not into historical romance but this is so much more than that.Not only is there such a love story between Germot and Aeliana that it makes me smile, there’s also plenty of action with blood thirsty vampires and gladiators. I can’t wait to see what’s next for these amazing characters and any more Kristin can think up. 5 awesome fangs.

Jo studied each of them in turn, cranking up the anticipation. She tapped her lips in deep thought, and opened them as if to speak and then stopped. The others leaned in slightly to catch her words.
“I think we should…” Jo moved over to the double bed and sat down next to Ushma.
“That is…it seems that, well, Glynis has a point about being responsible and staying in control…”
Glynis smirked and leaned smugly back against the wardrobe.
“But on the other hand,” Jo continued, “we’re in Amsterdam – city of debauchery – on my hen weekend. So I say we go out on the lash, get completely hammered, watch beautiful men ripping off their underwear and go and flirt with some horny guys.”
“Woohoo!” Chloe and Di screamed, rushing over towards Jo. Ushma joined them in a group hug.
Chloe used her mobile to track down the right tram to get them to Dam Square, on the outskirts of the infamous Red Light District, known locally as Rossebuurt. It was a clear, bright day with lots of people sitting outside eating, drinking or strolling along in groups and couples. The extensive canal network punctuated the roads with bridges, barges and houseboats. Market stalls added colour and life to various cobbled squares. Chloe had also read that many of the buildings were from as long ago as the fourteenth century, but she didn’t think this would interest the others. The Red Light District didn’t really come to life until it got dark, although it was easy to find signs and evidence of seedy nightlife and practices.
Chloe found a cash machine and prayed that it wouldn’t swallow up her card. Thankfully, it allowed her to take out fifty Euros, to add to what she’d already brought. She didn’t dare try for any more.
They wandered through a few lanes until Chloe suddenly shrieked outside a shop with a window display of various sex toys.
“I guess we’re in the Rossebuurt then,” she said.
“We’ve found our first tarts,” Jo quipped, drooling over the gateaux and pastries. They all stared greedily at the chocolate fondue fountain, with molten chocolate waterfalling down a glass sheet.
“What a choice, eh?” Chloe said, standing where the shops joined and looking from one to the next, as if watching a tennis match. “Sex or chocolate?”
Unfortunately for him, the taller one, still only known to him as ‘Bitch-Ho’ from the back of her sweatshirt, answered before his girl could speak. He politely answered the other, but kept his eye mainly on his chosen one. Her smile created the most wondrous dimples he’d ever beheld. Close up, she was even lovelier than before. Dean so desperately wanted to touch her.
He discovered their names. The blonde’s was Chloe.
“So where you from, then?” Dean asked, to make conversation.
“Lewes. You won’t know it. Little place in Sussex—”
“Yeah, I know Lewes. We’re from Brighton.” Dean couldn’t help grinning.
“You’re joking! What are the chances? We often go out clubbing in Brighton.”
“Have to meet up some time and reminisce.”
Chloe bit her lip and shrugged.
“Shall we go somewhere else? All of us?” He emphasised this last bit because he didn’t want to get stranded with Di, who was paying him more attention than he wanted. He smiled at Chloe. Sod it. What did he have to lose?

One Night in Amsterdam by Jaz Hartfield is part of the City Nights Series, but can be read as a stand alone book. I suggest this book for mature adults only.
This is a short book that I read in one setting.
The main characters are Chloe and Dean. Chloe seems to like sex with everyman and is not looking at settling down. Dean is engaged to be married in a month. Chloe and her friends are in Amsterdam for a Hen Party (Bachelorette Party) for her friend Jo. Dean is there with his friends for a stag party.
Not wanting to give anything away, the book has some heat and is a good fast read.
If you like sex and a little romance, then I suggest this book. If you are not into reading about sex, then don’t read this book. I will be reading the other books in this series.
