Crystal by Cherrie Mack *Review

As they delve into an arrangement based on give and take, Robert and Crystal find themselves in unfamiliar territory. Sexual attraction supersedes their age difference, and they agree on a two-week affair. The result is somewhat unexpected. She doesn’t believe in love; he doesn’t want love. But now that they’re in love, whatever will they do?
>Crystal is single and unfulfilled. She tends to speak her mind and is extremely sarcastic. Her family believe her lack of a filter is what causes her to crash and burn when it comes to dating. Crystal’s belief in the happily ever after is the real issue and only a strong man can show her true love.
>Robert owns the company Crystal works in. He was burned in a divorce, so hires Crystal to act as his date for 2 weeks. No strings, no love. Watching these two break down each other’s barriers was great fun. When Crystal goes on a rant, the story really picks up. Their interactions were funny and poignant. I had an issue with the ending. Their relationship is set to rights in a paragraph. For how fun this story was to read, I felt cheated at the abrupt, though positive ending.
