Three millennium brought the Supreme Commander to this place at this time to meet the one woman who can save not only his soul but his very existence.
Too many days pondering her life. Too many nights dreaming of the nameless, faceless man who makes her feel things she never thought possible.
One has a chance for revenge, the other a chance for redemption. Together they must make a choice. Together they hold the key.
Together only they can save the heart of her king.
This book contains explicit sexual material and violence. It is only suited for mature readers 18 years of age and older.
I received this in exchange for an honest review from the Author.
I have followed this author since day one, when she wrote her first book in the Dragon Guard Series. I fell in love with her writing style and the emotion that pours from her “men” in the books.
In this book we meet Viktor, business man, alpha and immortal. He has a destined mate and the way in which he must ensure the mating may wreck them both.
Then we have Kat, the fiery red head who has been dreaming of a faceless man for so long that she has pretty much fallen for him. This story really shows the pull of the mating bond and how even when you try to follow the rules of the gods, you cannot deny love.
I really loved the characters and would have loved to see a longer portion around the “chaos” of the story. I don’t want to give any spoilers but you all know there is always a “threat” to the relationship and I would have liked to see that last a little longer in this story. I felt like this was 20 percent chaos, 20 percent build up and 60 percent sex. Don’t get me wrong, I love sex in stories but I wanted more depth in the rest of the story. I am anxious to see what is next for the rest of his “clan” of warriors. This book puts a creative spin on the preternatural and brings some new life to the paranormal world.

I am a sarcastic, sometimes foul-mouthed, not afraid to drink a beer, always southern woman with 2 of the most amazing teenage daughters,
a menagerie of animals and a voracious appetite for reading who recently decided to write the storied running through her brain. I read my first book, Dr Suess’ Cat in The Hat by myself at 4 and was hooked.
I believe a good book along with shoes, makeup and purses will never let a girl down and that all heroes of all the books
I have ever read or will ever write pale in comparison to my daddy! I am a sucker for a happy ending and love some hot sweaty sex with a healthy dose of romance.
I am still working on my story but believe it will contain all of the above with as much SPICE as I can work into it. CHEERS!
