Touching Spirits: Transitions by JD Phillips

So one day you realize – holy shite – I’m dead. Not just dead but murdered, in a way, thanks to a twat of a mate and a couple of psycho killers. It sucks to be sure but I’ve always been one to look on the bright side. Walking through walls, blowing electronics, spooking the shite out of people – sounds like a fun time, right? And I’m sure it will be… if I ever get the bloody hang of things….
First of I’d like to say thank you to JD for allowing me to beta read this amazing story. That being said let’s jump right into my review.
Woo hoo Killian is back and as smart ass and sassy as ever!!! Kalla has asked him to stay with her while he gets used to being a “spook” as Killian calls hisself. Burke and Symone are still trying to help find Hel and Zac to make them pay for what they did to Killian. Dusty is still being Dusty and trying to catch Killian on video to prove that he’s still here and to make a documentary for his show. As they delve deeper into Killian’s death more weird things start happening like Kara’s ghost being mad at Killian for helping capture her killer. Now why would she be mad at him for that? We also get to meet a flapper ghost named Cody who wants to teach Killian how to be a ghost but Kalla says stay away because she could drain him and send him across the veil. Neither Kalla or Killian want him to cross but of course you know Killian, he doesn’t listen to good. More things go bump in the night, and day than can be easily explained. We also me Dorian who leaves us with more questions than answers. Who or what is he and why is it so important to him that Killian knows him? What Killian discovers about the killers explains a lot but can he get the info to Symone in time to save someone? Will Dusty ever quit being a twat waffle as Killian calls him?
This is an awesome continuation of Killian’s after life and I can’t wait to see what Killian and Dusty get themselves into next.
