The Grove by Elizabeth Guizzetti #Review

I’m an independent reviewer for Romance Authors That Rock. I was given this copy for my honest review. I feel that this book is worth a 5 star rating.
Dayla is the Keeper it is her job to protect The Grove. She can tell something is going on, that something is wrong. No one believes her not even her husband, Oliver.
Jonah is on a mission. He has to wake up the gods. He can’t take the way the world is all the killing, therapes, etc. He believes that if he can wake the gods everything will be better. That the world will be better. That the gods will protect the world again.
This book makes you sit back and question what you would do to protect the ones you love. How for you would go?
This book is written in POV. It switches from person to person. Sometimes it is difficult to remember witch person the POV is written in. But getting past that one problem I enjoyed this book. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys books about witches and sorcerers.
I was given this book by the author in exchange for a honest review.
Dayla Fisher is a Keeper, her job is to protect the centuries old Grove where three sleeping Gods call home. She lives with her husband Oliver, her cat and two garden gnome roommates. Her life is going along just fine until Jonah Liefson comes to town.
Jonah thinks waking up the Gods will save the world. With his powers of suggestion and mind reading he wins over most of the small town to help him, even Oliver succumbs to Jonah.
With children starting to dissappear and Dayla doubting her own sanity, she sets out to stop Jonah. How far is Dayla willing to go to stop him? What will she have to do to keep the Gods sleeping?
This book rocks, there’s child sacrifice, murder, magic and smart ass garden gnomes. The horror abounds in this fast paced threat to the end of the world novel. I couldn’t put it down, I read it in one sitting. I love the fact that Dayla has to keep her magic under control or she will slip into madness and if she slips the Gods can be awoken and end the world.
Independent reviewer for Romance Authors That Rock. 5 thrilling hearts.
Much to her chagrin, Elizabeth Guizzetti discovered she was not a cyborg and growing up to be an otter would be impractical, so she began writing stories. Guizzetti currently lives in Seattle with her husband and two dogs. When not writing, she loves hiking and birdwatching.
