Taken by the Alien Prince by Ruth Anne Scott #Review
Posted by brriske
When Layla awakens tied down to a slab of stone and watching a sunset that should not exist, all she remembers is running. She can recall nothing beyond the cold ground at her feet and the sheer terror of being captured and brought wherever she was. Only the brief appearance of a beautiful man by her side comforts her, but he soon disappears and she finds herself handed over to a group of strange women who tell her that she has been chosen by the youngest prince of a planet she never even knew existed. She is to become his nurturer, a woman enslaved and expected to attend to his every whim.
Will whatever waits for her in her role as a nurturer be worth all of the memories that have disappeared from her mind? Or will she have a chance to escape and return to the world she doesn’t remember?
I really enjoyed this one. Not only does it have some truly interesting characters that are well written and fleshed out, but the author has created a fantastic universe to play in, surrounding our own planet.
I was almost more interested in the second couple than in the first, but they were both fascinating. The premises the author has come up with have me adding these books to the top of my TBR list! The sensual scenes between couples are written in a classic style that lends a great touch to the story. As an independent reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock, I give it four and a half hearts. I really, really liked it but just didn’t quite love it.
