Patrick’s loss is Remy’s gain.
A Club Raven Novel
After his twin dies in battle, it’s Patrick Daniels’ duty to marry his brother’s fiancée. Too bad he can’t make himself do it, and in his distress, he manifests a psychic talent that’s stronger than the tornadoes in his native East Texas. Then a mysterious man from a place called Club Raven steps in and sweeps Patrick off to the booming East Coast city of Baltimore.
Club Raven veteran Remy Blanchard sees Patrick and knows, even though Patrick is very ill, that this is the challenge he’s been waiting for. He nurses Patrick back to health, and begins to teach Patrick to control his talent. His methods might be unconventional, and Patrick might be new to the kinds of sexual games Remy knows best, but the two of them find something in each other that might be just as magical as the gentleman’s club where they meet.

I was given a advanced copy of this book by the author and chose to wrote this review.
This is a M/M romance with paranormal overtones.
Patrick Daniels has a twin Henry. When Henry is killed during battle and since he was the son groomed to take over the family cotton mill and marry up , it now falls to Patrick to take his place. He is expected to marry Henry’s fiance Carolina, sire children and take over the running of the mill. There’s a problem with that, he doesn’t love her and the idea of “bedding her and producing offspring make his balls shrivel” as he puts it. When he refuses and causes a psychic storm, he’s shipped off by his family who think he’s “possessed by demons”.
Gambler Remy Blanchard is a regular at Club Raven, a gentlemen’s club in Boston. There he spots Patrick and realises he’s who Remy has spent all his life waiting for. He takes Patrick under his wing, healing him, teaching him to control his talent and giving him unconditional love.
Will Remy be able to save Patrick? Can he teach him to control his talent and show him love between two men isn’t a sin?
A sweet romance about how one person thinks they’re being saved but they’re saving the other at the same time. The characters are all men who are damaged in one form or another, some physically some mentally and some both and how they’ve helped each other heal with love. I really enjoyed this book and hope to eat more by this author.
Independent reviewer for Romance Authors That Rock. 5 sweet and loved hearts.
