Marc had known about his mate for years. He was patient, though. He would wait until Noelle was ready before he made his move. It was the only thing he could do. But with everything happening around them, his patience was growing thin. He needed his mate’s support now more than ever.
Noelle always thought that she would be mated to Dane King, the leader of the American Dragon Territory. When she found out about Dane’s mate Liana, she was angry. That was supposed to be her, she thought. Then when Marc revealed their bond to her she was completely taken by surprise. Marc couldn’t be her mate, could he?
This is book 3 in the Elemental Dragons series. A spin off of Emilia’s Fated Dragons series, it can be read as a standalone, however it is best read in series.
Warning: This series contains lots of sexy shifter action, irresistible mates and steamy love scenes. Tons of mouth watering Paranormal Romance bonus content included!
Marc is a pro at burying her feeling and emotions. When his father shows up on their family doorsteps asking for help to rescue their mother after decades of the family thinking they were dead after being caught by the Guardians, Marc can hold back in longer. The touch of his mate is what calms him, even though Noelle will not acknowledge he as her mate. Noelle does acknowledge, however, that they are going to rescue his mother which is an opportunity to help and look for her sister as well. Will Marc find his mother alive? Will Noelle find her any information on her sister? With them working together, will the bond finally be accepted or finally tear them apart?
This was a good read. I was unaware of it being part of series before reading. The author does recommend reading the other books before hand, but is not a necessity. I felt a little lost because of not reading the books that came before this one. The author did a good job in filling the reader in on the basics, but I know I would have enjoyed the book so much more if I read the others first. I would have connected with the characters so much more. Besides that, good story. The authors writing style was easy to read and she kept the story flowing well. I will definitely read more in the series after I read the first books. I gave this a four star read.
