Book review – Erik: Band of Bears
>This book is part of the Band of Bears series and ends in an HEA. Erik is a bear shifter going undercover to catch what ever is killing humans. He moves in next to Charlotte, both of them living in a fairly remote area. The reality in this story is that humans do not know shifters exist. When Charlotte is confronted with proof of what Erik is, she accepts this paranormal being rather quickly.
>The story has a lot of action, but too much of Charlotte going out of her way to be a victim. Erik does allow her to help, eventually, but Charlotte is a smart woman who seems to be asking for trouble walking home at night alone? Really? The chemistry between Erik and Charlotte is hot. Erik’s jealousy when his buddy shows up to help is really funny, as is Charlotte’s baking fixation.
>I am a reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock. I am giving this book 4 stars. The story was good, but more meat to the plot and explanation as to why the creature was targeting humans would have made the story great.
