Brock is a man who’s happy and content with his life. A surrogate parent to his now-adult brothers, he spends his days running the company he built himself and his nights playing in his brothers’ local band. When he runs into Victoria in the bar after a show, sparks unexpectedly fly, and he’s interested in seeing where it goes.
But can the man who’s happy with his life, convince the woman who always wants more, to give him a shot with only 15 Minutes on the clock?
This is book 4 in this series, and I have not read the others. I didn’t feel I was missing anything by not doing so, as much of what happened in those stories isn’t relevant to this one, or is recapped enough for me to follow.
This review will be short, because, while I enjoyed reading this, I didn’t love it. And a three star review, for me, is the hardest to write.
so, What I did like:
its not too complicated, a touch too long for a regular hangover cure, but it will sit on that shelf. Both Victoria and Brock get thier say, and they say it so well. They do get their HEA, even if they go about it the hard way.
What I didn’t like.
Victoria and Brock both get their say, but its in the FIRST PERSON and it flips. Each flip is a chapter change and is headed, but still, I didn’t like the first person bit here.
I hate not being able to say whay a book doesn’t work for me, ya’ll know I do! This is one of those books, my gut reaction is 3 stars, and I can’t find a way to give it any more. 3Fangs.
