AR Von put a neat twist on the story of Poseidon, Medusa and Athena. Medusa wasnt always the monster of mythology, at on time she was a beautiful, innocent maiden. She and Poseidon were in love but kept apart because Athena had a fatal attraction thing going, every time Poseiden shows the least interest in a woman she would disappear.When Athena finds out that they spend 3 super hot days together, she curses Medusa. Now Poseiden, with the help of Zeus and the Kracken, must find Medusa and try to break the curse. Can Poseidon save the love of his life? Will they find their HEA or will Athena finally win over Poseidon? I know Noone really knows how Medusa actually ended up cursed but this puts an interesting spin on one possibility. Definitely a book worth reading.

The chemistry between them is strong but can Mike let go of the past and let himself love his died best friends fiancee? Just read and find out… I love the geeky paranormal town in this book and how it feels like it could be a real town. It’s well written and has some great steamy romance. Libby took off like a rabbit as soon as she heard the crack of the bat. She approached first base at full speed, saw no one coming at her, and didn’t slow down. She rounded the base and headed for second.

He grinned down at her, the gold flecks in his eyes sparkling. He touched the ball to her collarbone, just below her jaw where he knew it was sensitive, and Libby’s toes burst into flames. “You’re out, Sheriff Mayden.”
“In your dreams, Marshal Kyote,” she wheezed back. “If you check, you’ll find my boot’s on second base.”
Sam didn’t budge. “We’ll have to consult the umpire. Oh, wait. That would be you.” His grin widened, and now Libby couldn’t breathe for a whole different reason. “How are you planning to call it from this position?”

This is a different type of book then i’m use too, bu tI thought I would give it try since I’m a big fan of science fiction. We have Sam who is a member of secret branch of the government. What he doesn’t know, was that he was going to become an unwilling participant in a experiment that government issued. What came along with these experiment was more shocking that knowing they were being preformed on him with knowledge. Sam was told he should go out West and practice his new found skills. When Sam got there he was in more trouble then he was back in Washington, but these troubles came with a beautiful face and long legs with gun attached to her hip!

Awesome frolic through the islands!! Everyone needs a best friend like Sophie!!! This book was such fun to read, I had trouble putting it down.

Thirty-foot high stone walls stretched to the right and left until they curved out of sight. Standing between were the gates, made entirely of bones. Two nasty looking Weres stood on guard duty, a female who looked like she ate scrap metal and pooped nails, and a bald guy who was built like a professional wrestler, or maybe a bull. His shaved head was covered with tribal tattoos that ran down his neck and over his arms to his wrists and he glowered at me as he stepped aside to let us pass.
Huge and sweeping, the Bone Clan fortress looked like it was designed to withstand a lifetime of sieges without batting an eye. And it was nothing compared to the sheer face of the mountain at its back and the three tiers carved into it.
“Welcome to Cha’dana.” Bald Guy shoved me in the middle of the back, forcing me to stumble forward. “Keep moving.”
The wind swept down from the cliff and rushed over us, sending a chill of apprehension across my skin. At least twelve times the height of the tallest building I’d ever seen in the city, the stronghold was beautiful, inspiring and terrifying all at the same time.
So much for finding safe haven with Cooper’s Clan.
OMG when I got to the end I wanted to throw something at the wall I was so upset. I can’t wait for the next book I need to see what’s next.
