I’d actually give this a 3.5Dr. Madeline Pierce fears there is something horrible going on in the company where she works. She thinks there is a huge meth operation and distribution, so she calls the FBI. They send Agent Joe Roberts. There are so many things going on in her little town, animal attacks, testing outside the laboratory, murders, and to top it off Madeline is instantly attracted to Joe and they must play boyfriend/girlfriend to find out the answer they are looking for.
I received this from Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock for an honest review! To be honest this wouldn’t be something I picked up for myself. Well that teaches me to limit my reading list! 🙂 I fell in love with Christina Thompson’s characters immediately. They were funny, charming, smart, and witty; they had amazing chemistry together and I loved the witty comebacks. This book contained it all, and I mean all, sex, murder, mystery, betrayal, and so much more. I am glad I got a chance to read this book because I will most definitely be looking forward to the next book in the series~!

I loved this book it has it all romance, suspense and action to just name a few. Can I please have my own Joe? Madeline is noticing strange things in her lab. She has to find out who is doing this but she also has to do it unoticied. She calls in the FBI. They send Joe is the perfect place for him. To keep him unoticied he acts as Madelines boyfriend. They have to hurry and find out who is doing the bad experimenting before they go from testing on animals to testing on humans. Will they be able to do it and leave their hearts out of it?? This is a book you won’t be able to put down and the plot twists will get you! I give this book a 5 fang review.

FBI Agent Joe Roberts and Dr. Madeline Pierce must find the remaining vials of a rage inducing nano-drug. Madeline stays in Detroit with the FBI to try and recreate the drug and possibly creating an antidote. She must stay strong and over come the drama the women in Joe’s past try to create. Joe has to go back to Allenton to find the others involved and any trace of where and who took the vials. Joe is worried with their relationship so new if they can stay strong with this time apart along with all the obstacles in their way. Before Joe makes it back Madeline is kidnapped and a whole new game is started, secrets are being revealed and relationships are put to the test.
Once again I was gripped with this story. This wasn’t some half baked sequel to get more books out there. This book was amazing and from the first page and doesn’t let go till it says THE END. Although for me I didn’t want it to end I wanted more…more of everyone, Joe, Madeline, David, Eva, Matt, Mike, and Tim….I fell in love with all of them. I hope there will be more to come. This series has everything you could want; mystery, betrayal, crime, angst, love, humor, so much for the reader to enjoy. I hope Christina Thompson writes more about these amazing characters so I can be transported back to Allenton! Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock sent this to me for my honest review and I hope ya’ll give Christina and the folks of Chemical Reaction a chance!
