The book takes place way in the future.  The Earth has been overtaken by other aliens and humans taken hostage.  Ally and Eva are both slaves being sold to the highest bidder.  They vow to remain together, but Eva is bought at a market and Ally is sold to brothel after brothel.  At each brothel, Ally fights to find Eva and escape.  The last brothel has a child and Ally vows to submit if the boy is left to her care. Eva’s fate was much kinder.  She is a married Queen and never gave up looking for Ally.  Once she finds her, she sends her brother in law, Kiehle, to look after her until she can legally free her.  Trouble is, Ally doesn’t believe Kiehle knows Eva and escapes with 2 children, while holding him hostage.  The story is very disturbing.  Forced sexual slavery is not a pleasant topic, but the adventure Ally and Kiehle go through is page turning.   I can relate to how Ally never trusts Kiehle.  She has been sorely abused, if she trusted him too quickly, the story wouldn’t have had the same impact. This book is for an adult audience due to sexual situations.  A lot of the story takes place in brothels and the descriptions are blunt.  There is an underlying theme of anti slavery, which redeems the story and helps the reader root for Ally and Kiehle.  I’m giving this book 4 fangs.
